James Hunting

Project Coordinator / Pyrotechnician

James Hunting is one of J&M’s staff of talented Project Coordinators. He has been with the company since 2003 and has worked on just about every variety of special effect that J&M provides, but what he likes to do most is blow things up! He holds a FDNY Certificate of Fitness (Class A Pyrotechnic Special Effects) in addition to many other licenses and has been a practicing pyrotechnician for 4 years. He is proud to still have all his fingers and both eyebrows as talismans of his safe practices. In addition to pyrotechnic work, James has worked as an Effects Coordinator leading installations on several Broadway shows, countless photo shoots, live and taped television programs, and many films, music videos, and commercials. James takes pride in offering the best customer service possible and creating innovative systems and solutions to the variety of special effects challenges that come his way.
